History of Ramal Shastra (Astrology)
According to a primitive legend, when Goddess Parvati questions Shiva about Prashna Jyotish he drops four drops of Amrit or Devine Nectar. The four drops also become four representations of four primordial compounds, which are Fire, Water, and Earth. These four drops become sixteen figures (four for each group). The fifth compound is not involved in gaining insight into the future.
This Old Testament, in addition to being a secret Hindu Jyotish, is also a part of Arabic culture. It was later brought back by Muslims in India.
